Just like everything else, it takes time and the willing to give it a try in order for viewers to get a hang of it. Mayura has been very slow in releasing their titles. And then when they do, it's a dub title where like 3-4 dubbing company has already dub it. Some do still wait for the Mayura version while others have sort of let them slip through the cracks. And because there only 1 team of dubber for Mayura, they really can't dub every single Lakorn that is out on the 3-4 popular Thai network. And sometime, the title release might not be a HIT, so then viewers have to wait and wait again.
Anyhow, I grew up with Mayura voices too, and got used to it. But now, understanding their situation, I am able to give other dubbing company a try and picking the lakorn i like to watch helps cuz it keeps me wanting to find out what's going on. Beside, i can't just wait for Mayura, what if they never gonna dub it? eheheh..
