okay... who the hell is this girl? she looks totally viet and she doesn't sound khmer one bit. she sounds like a viet or chinese trying to sing in khmer. her khmer is so fobby also. check her video out above. at the beginning there is khmer writing that is written vertically from top to bottom WTF? only chinese characters are written like that NOT khmer alphabets. is cambodia being taking over by the chinese and vietnamese in the karaoke industry also?

i'm not racist or anything but i want to see actual khmers.

Her name is Yok Tet Ratha. She's a popular singer in Srok Khmer. I actually like the song, it's pretty good.

homegirl doesn't even SOUND remotely KHMER. she sounds like a vietnamese person speaking the khmer language. like when she says the word "bess'dong" she says it like this "beh'dong". my bet is the girl is a vietnamese not khmer.

WHAT??? How does she NOT sound Khmer? A viet accent?? Do you even know what Khmer sound like? Just because the letters are in vertical format doesn't mean we're veit washed! Don't be too judgemental! She was born and raised in PP her whole life. I don't know how you come up with that assumption. And don't start with the look, what does a FULL khmer suppose to look like? like a farmer, dark skin, curly hair? Give them a break! To tell you the truth, lil "wash" here and there doesn't hurt, full khmer weren't the brightest either, just look at how the country turned out the last couple centuries.

She is full khmer, she and Khom Bannadet (Dude in this video) are together/ gf/bf thing. They lived together but not married. So I heard when I went to srok khmer last year. (April-May).

My beloved Friend!
I was accidently buy the RSK DVD 7,
I was so fascinatingly in love with her sweet voice.
She can simply sing better than that,
if she have a professional music teacher.
Without any make-up or high-light on her hair,
she just looks like an average Khmer lady.
I don't completely think that she looks like a Viet nor Thai.
