Khmer Language (Unicode) Support Automated Font Install for Windows NT/2000/XPhttp://unicode.khmer.cc/khmersetup.exeFor manual install: Here are a few things needed to get it running. Step 1Download; http://members.rogers.com/linchear/usp10.dllor http://www.khmercivil.com/unicode/soft/usp10.dllPlace this in your C:/Program Files/Internet Explorer directory and also to C:/Windows/System (for Win98 users) C:/Windows/System32 (for XP/NT/2000 users) Step 2Install these WinXP/2000 Drivers. http://www.cfcambodge.org/khmerfont/khuQwNt.exeor Win95/98 http://www.cfcambodge.org/KhmerFont/Khaz95.exeStep 3Install the fonts that are in C:/Program Files/KhmerFonts(Control Panel -> Fonts -> Install New Fonts) - it will say that it's already installed. Ignore this. Reboot, and you should be ready to go. (WinXP doesn't require a reboot) FinalizeOnce that's all set up visit this page: http://www.cfcambodge.org/KhmerUnicodFont.htmThis will test out your unicode. You should now be able to enter Khmer (on IE and Word) and read khmer unicode fonts in your browser.. Here is a KC thread to test Unicode out: http://www.khmer.cc/community/t.c?b=16&t=908Entering Khmer TextWindows XP/2000/NT UsersFirst you must set up your computer for Khmer input. Here are the steps for Microsoft Windows XP Control Panel Region and Language Options Languages tab click on "Details' click the "Add" button under Input Languages choose "Catalan" under "Keyboard layout/IME" select "Khmer Unicode" Click on OK on all the screens until you are out of the dialog. You will notice a little blue box with 'EN' or 'CA' in the lower right hand corner of your task bar. Press Left-Alt + Shift to switch between the two languages. The icon in the task bar will reflect the change. For more information on the keyboard layout, consult the PDF in your C:/Program Files/KhmerFonts directory. Windows 95, 98 and ME Usershttp://www.tavultesoft.com/keyman/support/FAQ002.phpWindows 95, 98 and Me all have very limited Unicode support. Keyman improves on this support by including the WM_UNICHAR message which allows conformant applications, such as the new RichEdit control Microsoft is including with Office XP, to accept Unicode input in Windows 95/98. However, unless specifically stated, it is unlikely that you will be able to use Unicode to its full potential on these operating systems. There is no system support for supplementary planes. In other words, upgrade to Windows 2000/NT/XP in order to get full Unicode entry-support under Windows. If you're still having trouble (or just plain lazy), page me and I can provide you with an automated installer.Khmer Unicode Resource Page http://unicode.khmer.cc/____________________________________

That's good that it works. Yes, KC converts the & into &. Therefore it shows the ᝰᝳ etc codes. But, if the conversion is removed, then you will be able to read them fine by default on KC. (A simple example is my KC homepage). The keyboard entry works well. The secret is using the COENG (~ tilde) key to rearrange the pre-scripts. In the Khmer Unicode keyboard drivers, type in S COENG (~) R and you'll see what I mean.

http://www.cfcambodge.org/khmerfont/khuaznt.exeIf you still have problems. Download the above program. It's in French. But just ok through the screen There will be a .TTF (true type font) in C:/Program Files/KhmerFonts Install that font and all will be well. If you have problems feel free to ask. Once that's all set up visit this page: http://www.cfcambodge.org/KhmerUnicodFont.htmThis will test out your unicode. KC officially supports Khmer Unicode. ____________________________________

Yes. They are a bit on the tiny side. And sorry, Khmer Connection does not support Thai We're working on making them larger, and making KC Khmer friendly (go figure) as much as possible.

LOL... now it works after I was thinking about reformat the whole system... haha... it scared. Hmmm, but how do you type it? I don't know what's "Miniscule", "MAJ", "AltGr", "AltGr+MAJ" ???? From the layout... First I thought "AltGr" was "shift" because at "T" the normal type was "Tor" and "shift + T" was "Tur". BUT, at number one key, "Shift" is "MAJ"... Now I don't understand... :: Help... Please... ____________________________________ Personal Page - MyKhmer.ORG

Type Bor then Srak Ah. It should should convert things.
To get some other characters, you'll need to type the COENG
Point_Dexter: Yes, this is official and standardized.
